Process of Verification of Power of Attorney in Nepal

  1. Both parties, the power of attorney giver and taker, should give an application along with the power of attorney paper, affixing their signature, thumb impression, and attaching photos in the presence of a district judge if it is within Nepal and in the presence of the Embassy or Consulate General of Nepal if it is outside the territory of Nepal.
  2. After the verification of the power of attorney, the Judge or Ambassador/Consul General will authorize the power of attorney.
