1. Entity Identity & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and protection of information by Mero Adalat Law Associates Pvt. Ltd. ("MeroAdalat", "we", "our", or "the firm"), a legal services entity registered with the Office of the Company Registrar, Government of Nepal (Registration No. 370552/82/83).

Any case facts, identity documents, court pleadings, matrimonial agreements, or corporate records shared with our advocates in contemplation of or during legal representation are strictly confidential. We do not disclose privileged case information to third parties without your explicit written authorization, except where mandated by a competent court decree or statutory authority under Nepalese law.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information solely to provide accurate legal guidance and facilitate legal services:

  • Consultation & Contact Details: When you submit an inquiry form, contact us via WhatsApp, or call our office, we may collect your full name, phone number, email address, current country/city of residence, and an overview of your legal inquiry.
  • Documentation for Legal Retainer: If you engage our firm for court representation, court marriage, divorce filing, power of attorney (Warisnama), or company registration, we collect required official identity documents (such as Citizenship Certificate, Passport, No Objection Certificate, or Corporate Registration papers).
  • Technical Infrastructure Logs: When you browse our website, our server and edge CDN (Cloudflare) automatically process non-identifying technical metadata (such as IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, and timestamp) solely for site security, DDoS mitigation, and speed optimization.

4. No Sale of Data & No Third-Party Ad Trackers

We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal or legal consultation data to marketing aggregators, data brokers, or advertising networks.

MeroAdalat operates entirely tracker-free regarding commercial advertising. We do not embed Google AdSense, Meta Pixel, TikTok tracking tags, or third-party behavioral retargeting scripts on this website.

5. Cookies & Edge Infrastructure

Our website uses minimal, strictly essential technical cookies provided by Cloudflare Workers to manage session security, prevent spam, and enforce rate limits on API requests. We do not use persistent marketing cookies.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS) across all web endpoints. Direct client communications via WhatsApp or telephone are secured via end-to-end messaging or dedicated office telecommunication systems.

Physical case files and certified copies of official documents are maintained securely in our Kathmandu office and retained only for the period necessary to complete the agreed legal mandate or satisfy the statutory record-retention requirements under Nepalese procedural laws.
