Who We Are
Mero Adalat is led by Advocate Keshar Bahadur Dahal, a Nepal Bar Council-registered lawyer practicing in Kathmandu. The firm handles family law, property matters, power of attorney, and general civil consultation.
We work with clients who are in Nepal and clients who live abroad. Many of our cases involve marriage registration, divorce proceedings, property transfers through power of attorney, and legal advice for NRNs who cannot travel to Nepal for every court date.
What We Do
Marriage Registration in Nepal: We help Nepali citizens and foreign nationals complete marriage registration at the relevant ward office or court. This includes document preparation, legal verification, and representation where required.
Divorce Lawyer Services in Kathmandu: We file mutual consent divorces and contested divorces at Kathmandu District Court and other relevant courts. We explain the timeline, required documents, and court fees before starting any case.
NRN Legal Services: Non-Resident Nepalis often need to sell property, manage inheritance, or handle family disputes while living in the US, UK, Australia, or Gulf countries. We prepare power of attorney documents, verify land ownership records, and represent NRNs in Nepali courts through valid legal authorization.
Power of Attorney (POA) in Nepal: We draft and advise on general and special power of attorney documents. For clients abroad, we explain how to notarize and attest documents at the nearest Nepali embassy or consulate so the POA is valid in Nepal.
General Legal Consultation: We provide legal opinion, document review, and case assessment for civil matters. Consultation is available by phone, WhatsApp, video call, or in person at our Kathmandu office.
